ECC Weekly Honor Roll
Joey Atkins, Daemen (Sr, G/F - Watervliet, N.Y.)
Part of a defense that limited its two opponents to 35-percent field goal percentage (48-for-136) and 129 points (64.5 per game) and recorded 14 blocks and 11 steals in a 2-0 week. Set the ECC standard for most blocks in a game (7) this season during a win over District of Columbia and averaged 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 blocks, and 1.5 steals over the two games. Became just the fifth player in program history to record 50 or more blocks in a season.
Jamal Barnes, St. Thomas Aquinas (Jr, G - Temple Hills, Md.)
Barnes recorded 24 points on eight three-pointers, as STAC picked up a 95-83 road victory at Roberts Wesleyan. The junior guard also had one assist and two steals, while shooting 8-for-12 from the field and three-point distance.
Darren Fergus, Molloy (So, G - Freeport, N.Y.)
Fergus had a near triple-double in Molloy's victory over Queens College, scoring 30 points to go with nine rebounds and nine assists while adding two steals and one block.
Kendell Ogilvie, Molloy (Jr, G - Woodmere, N.Y.)
Ogilvie had a double-double with 17 rebounds and 17 points in Molloy's win over Queens. The redshirt junior also added three steals and two assists.

Daemen: The Wildcats (15-7, 8-4 ECC) have won 12 of their 14 games and posted wins over Staten Island (93-62) and District of Columbia (79-67) this past weekend. Daemen entered the weekend ranked first among ECC teams in fewest points allowed per game and has now limited 13 of its 22 opponents to less than 70 points. The Wildcats are 11-2 this season when they limit their opponent to less than 70 points. Junior Andrew Mason (Webster, N.Y.) went 5-of-6 from three-point land in the win over UDC and in the process made his 150th career three-pointer. He is shooting 47-percent (153-327) from three-point land for his career. Redshirt senior Joey Atkins (Watervliet, N.Y.) has recorded a block in 20 of 22 games and totaled seven rejections in the win over UDC. The seven blocks is the most in a game by a player in the ECC this season. He has totaled 55 blocks this season and has become just the fifth player in program history to record 50 or more blocks in a season. Daemen plays just one game this week, as the Wildcats travel to Roberts Wesleyan for an ECC game on Wednesday. |

District of Columbia: UDC went 1-1 on the week defeating D'Youville on Friday and then falling to Daemen on Sunday. Next up, they will host Molloy at home on Wednesday. |

Molloy: The Lions pulled out a thrilling double overtime victory over Queens College, 87-80, to maintain second-place in the ECC. This week, Molloy will travel to UDC on Wednesday (Feb. 8) before hosting Staten Island on Saturday (Feb. 11). |

Queens: The Knights went 0-2 on the week including a double-overtime loss to Molloy in ECC action. Senior William Ellis averaged 15.0 points on the week. Queens continues ECC play as they travel to CSI on Wednesday (Feb. 8) evening before hosting UDC on Saturday (Feb. 11) afternoon. |

Roberts Wesleyan: Roberts dropped last Wednesday's game to STAC, 95-83 but had a last second win over Mercy on Saturday, 84-83. Ja'Kair Sanchez hit the go-ahead bucket with .7 remaining. The Redhawks will host Daemen on Wednesday and travel to D'Youville on Saturday. |

Staten Island: The Dolphins opened a 1-1 two-game weekend road trip with a loss to Daemen on Friday. Behind an 18-point, 13-rebound double-double from Messiah Mallory and 25 points from Bryce Waterman, the Dolphins held on in the closing seconds for a win over D'Youville on Sunday. |
