ECC Weekly Honor Roll
Michael Aiken, Dist. Columbia (So, G - Washington, D.C.)
Aiken averaged 17 points over two games on 60 percent shooting from the field and 66.7 percent shooting from behind the arc (6-for-9 from downtown). He also averaged 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game. In the game against Frostburg State, he scored a game-high of 20 points, five assists, and made a steal.
Darren Fergus, Molloy (So, G - Freeport, N.Y.)
Fergus netted a team-high 18 points against New Haven while shooting 50 percent from the field. This is the seventh time on the campaign the sophomore shot 50 percent or better in a contest.
Dion Herrington, Queens (Jr, G - Englewood, N.J.)
Herrington led the offense with 11 points, five assists, and five rebounds against Saint Michaels on Dec. 19. The senior shot 50 percent (5-for-10) from the field while adding a steal and block on the evening.
Jahmir Marable-Williams, Dist. Columbia (Sr, G - Philadelphia, Pa.)
Marable-Williams averaged a double-double over two games. He averaged 11.5 points, 10.5 assists, and 4.0 rebounds per game. In the game against Holy Family, he posted 11 assists, nine points, and six rebounds while making a steal. He posted a double-double in the game against Frostburg State with 14 points and 10 assists.

ECC Team Notes
Daemen: Daemen has won three of its last four games and stands at 6-6 overall and 1-3 in the ECC. The Wildcats suffered a 66-60 loss at regionally-ranked Pace on Dec. 19 and posted a 76-53 win over Cheyney on Dec. 31. Six of Daemen's 12 games have been decided by six points or less and the Wildcats are 1-5 in those games. Senior Nick MacDonald (Amherst, N.Y.) has scored in double figures in 11 of the 12 games and has made at least one three-pointer in all 12 games. Daemen has played eight of its first 12 games at Lumsden Gymnasium. The Wildcats are 85-18 (.825) at home during Daemen's NCAA Division II era (2015-present). The Wildcats play at regionally-ranked Franklin Pierce (1/2) and return to conference play at Staten Island (1/6) this week. |

Mercy: The Mercy College men's basketball team went 0-1 on the week with a loss at Southern Connecticut State. The Mavericks were led by graduate student Sean Smith Jr. who had a team-high 13 points. Mercy resumes action on Friday, January 6th when they host Roberts Wesleyan at 7 p.m. |

Molloy: The Lions returned to the court after a 12-day break traveling to New Haven Thursday, December 29, Molloy fell to the Chargers, 97-72. Molloy now sits at 4-10 overall and will return to conference play Wednesday, January 4th to take on Queens. |

Queens: Following a three-week break, the Knights return to action as they open ECC play against Molloy University on Wednesday (Jan. 4) evening before hitting the road in non-conference play against Cheyney University Saturday (Jan. 7) afternoon. |
