Bridgeport: The UB women's basketball team was idle last week due to two postponements. This week the Purple Knights are scheduled to play at UDC on Wednesday and host Staten Island on Saturday and D'Youville on Sunday.

Daemen: Daemen improved to 13-3 overall and 11-0 in conference play following a 73-68 win at rival Roberts Wesleyan last Wednesday. Trailing 66-60 with just over three minutes to play, the Wildcats closed with a 13-2 spurt, holding RWC without a field goal in crunch time. It ended up being the Wildcats' only game of the week as their Saturday contest at Bridgeport was postponed. Tiara Filbert netted a season-high 22 points vs. RWC and is the only player in the ECC averaging at least 11 points per game while shooting 40% from the field, 35 percent from three-point range and 80% from the free throw line. Katie Titus continues to lead the ECC in scoring (18.9). Daemen hosts D'Youville (Feb. 9) and visits District of Columbia (Feb. 13) this week while their make-up date with Bridgeport is still to be determined.
