ECC Men's Lacrosse Report - Week Nine

	Offensive Player of the Week Jordon Deats, Roberts Wesleyan (Jr, M - Bath, N.Y.) Deats had five points on three goals and two assists and scored the game-winner with just 1:11 left on the clock in the Redhawks' 13-12 win over ECC foe, Molloy. He added two ground balls and two caused turnovers in the winning effort.
	Defensive Player of the Week Tommy Umano, Mercy (Gr, GK - Seaford, N.Y.) Umano made a career-high-tying 19 saves with just seven goals allowed in Mercy's 9-7 win over No. 12 Frostburg State on Friday.
	Rookie of the Week Stefano Evan, D'Youville (Fr, A - Vestal, N.Y.) Evan shined bright for the Saints on the week with his best performance coming in Saturday's outing against UDC where he recorded five goals. He also put together a solid effort against Lake Erie College on Wednesday, finishing with three goals and two assists to finish with 10 points on the week.

ECC Weekly Honor Roll

Chris Delaney, Molloy (Jr, M - West Islip, N.Y.)
Delaney netted four goals to lead Molloy's offense against Roberts Wesleyan University while adding two ground balls and a caused turnover.

Luke Delavak, Roberts Wesleyan (Jr, LSM - Rush, N.Y.)
Delavak has three ground balls and four caused turnovers to help the Redhawks to a one-goal victory over Molloy.

Brady Kearnan, Mercy (Sr, A - Courtice, Ontario)
Kearnan had a game-high-tying four points on a game-high-tying three goals and one assist in the Mavericks' win over No. 12 Frostburg State on Friday. The senior also added two ground balls and one caused turnover.

Steve Lucas, D'Youville (Sr, A - West Seneca, N.Y.)
Lucas played a big part in the Saints' win on Saturday against UDC, ending his afternoon with seven goals and two assists for nine points. The second half of the game resulted in Lucas scoring six goals. As a whole, Lucas ends up gathering 11 points on the week after gaining two assists during a loss to Lake Erie on Wednesday.

	Dist. Columbia: UDC fell to D'Youville University in their lone game of the week. They will host Mercy College at home on Saturday.

	Mercy: The No. 7/8 Mercy College men's lacrosse team went 1-0 on the week with a 9-7 win over Frostburg State on Friday. The Mavericks were led by graduate student Tommy Umano who made a career-high-tying 19 saves. Mercy resumes action on Saturday when they play at UDC at 2 p.m.

	Roberts Wesleyan: Roberts won its third conference game of the season with a 13-12 thrilling win over Molloy on Saturday. The Redhawks are now 8-3 with two games left in the season. Roberts will host D'Youville on Wednesday, April 19th.
	St. Thomas Aquinas: The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Lacrosse team (4-6, 0-3 ECC) was off last week. STAC returns to action at D'Youville on April 15.
