ECC Men's Lacrosse Report - Week Six

	Offensive Player of the Week Tristan Engelhardt, D'Youville (So, A - Orlando, Fla.) Engelhardt tied ECC season-highs with seven goals and six assists and set a new ECC season-high of 13 points in a win over Bridgeport. He added two points on a goal and an assist in a loss to Molloy to finish with 15 points on the week. Engelhardt also added five ground balls on the week.
	Defensive Player of the Week Thomas Kofod, Molloy (Fr, LSM - Seaford, N.Y.) Kofod was a force in the midfield for the Lions last week, picking up a total of 14 ground balls and forcing eight turnovers. The freshman tallied eight ground balls and five caused turnovers against Chestnut Hill before scoring a goal and adding six ground balls and three caused turnovers against D'Youville.
	Rookie of the Week Brady Ruffalo, D'Youville (Fr, A - Webster, N.Y.) Ruffalo was stellar for the Saints with seven goals and one assist for eight points on the week. In a win over Bridgeport, he tallied seven points on six goals and an assist then added one goal in a loss to Molloy. He also added two ground balls on the week.

Brody Caskenette, Mercy (Jr, A - Owen Sound, Ontario)
Caskenette had a game-high and career-high five goals with four ground balls in the Mavericks' win over Roberts Wesleyan on Sunday.

Thomas Connors, Mercy (Gr, A - Bellmore, N.Y.)
Connors had a game-high eight points on two goals and a game-high six assists in the win over Roberts Wesleyan on Sunday. The graduate student also added two ground balls and one caused turnover.

Tanner Donaldson, Frostburg St. (Sr, M - St. Mary's City, Md.)
Donaldson had a season-high in goals (4), shots on goal (6), points (6), and ground balls (5) in a 20-4 win over St. Thomas Aquinas.

Jason Kuehner, Mercy (Jr, FO - Hackettstown, N.J.)
Kuehner went 20-of-23 on faceoffs with eight ground balls and two assists in the Mavericks' win over Roberts Wesleyan on Sunday.

ECC Team Notes

	Dist. Columbia: UDC fell to Chestnut Hill in their lone game of the week. They will open up conference play next Saturday, hosting Frostburg State.
	D'Youville: No team notes submitted.

	Mercy: The No. 3/4 Mercy College men's lacrosse team went 1-0 on the week with a 21-14 win over Roberts Wesleyan on Sunday. The Mavericks were led by junior Brody Caskenette who had a game-high five goals. Mercy resumes action on Wednesday when they host Bentley at 3 p.m.
	Molloy: Molloy went 1-1 on the week, dropping a heart-breaking four overtime loss to Chestnut Hill, 10-9, before kicking off league play with a 26-5 victory over D'Youville. This week, the Lions are on the road in non-conference bouts at Post (Mar. 21) and Seton Hill (Mar. 25).
	Roberts Wesleyan: Roberts dropped its ECC opening game to Mercy on the road, 21-14. The Redhawks are 5-3 and will travel to STAC for a game on Sat. March 25.
	St. Thomas Aquinas: The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Lacrosse team (3-3, 0-1 ECC) dropped its lone contest of the week, 20-4 to Frostburg State. STAC returns to action against Georgian Court on March 22 (3 p.m.) and Roberts Wesleyan on March 25 (1 p.m.).
