Firebirds Suffer Conference Loss to Bobcats

WASHINGTON, DC- The University of the District of Columbias men's lacrosse team fell 3-30 to a stacked Frostburg State team, to open conference play, Saturday afternoon at the Georgetown Day School Field. The Firebirds fell to 0-1 in conference play while the Bobcats improved to 2-0.

Carnell Lofton Jr. won 22-35 taken Face-offs, while picking up a game-high 20 ground balls and scoring a goal. Shelton Tessier forced a game and career high four caused turnovers and Ignacio Pericet forced three. Dylan Donaldson and Julian Schemm each contributed a goal and Najee Wilson made a game-high 23 saves.

Up Next, UDC (0-5, 0-1 ECC) are haeded on the roasd next Saturday to continue conference play against Roberts Wesleyan with atip-off time of noon.
