ECC Women's Soccer Report - Week Three

	Offensive Player of the Week Olivia Ingenito, Molloy (Sophomore - Forward, Sound Beach, N.Y.) Ingenito provided a spark off the bench for the Lions last week, totaling three goals across two matches. The Molloy sophomore kicked off the week by tallying the match-tying goal in the 88th minute in the Lions' 2-2 draw at Wilmington. She then hit the back of the net twice (48', 64'), including the match-winner, in Molloy's ECC-opening, 3-1 win over St. Thomas Aquinas. For the week, Ingenito took seven shots, with six coming on goal.
	Defensive Player of the Week Becca Schultz, Daemen (Sophomore - Goalkeeper, Grand Island, N.Y.) Schultz made 10 saves on 13 shots on goal in a 1-1-0 week for the Wildcats. On the road against nationally-ranked #3 Saint Rose, Schultz matched her career-high saves total with seven in the 3-2 loss before making three saves in a 1-0 win over regionally-ranked #10 Queens.
	Rookie of the Week Jenna Northup, Roberts Wesleyan (Freshman - Back, Churchville, N.Y.) Northup scored the match's opening goal in the 45th minute in Roberts Wesleyan's 4-0 win over Lincoln last week. The rookie would also assist on the Redhawks' fourth and final goal of the match, setting up previous ECC Offensive Player of the Week Alena Weibel in the 90th minute.

ECC Weekly Honor Roll

Rachel Brownell, St. Thomas Aquinas (Senior - Forward/Midfielder, Blauvelt, N.Y.)
Brownell tallied two goals and an assist over two games last week for St. Thomas Aquinas. In a 3-0 win against Felician, the STAC senior picked up a pair of unassisted goals on both of her shot opportunities in the 20th and 74th minutes. She followed up with an assist in the Spartans' 3-1 loss to Molloy.

Izzy Deachman, D’Youville (Sophomore - Forward/Midfielder, Nobleton, Ontario)
Deachman's lone goal of the week came at a crucial point for the Saints as the D'Youville sophomore tallied the late equalizer in the 90th minute of play against Mercy in the team's conference opener. Deachman hit the back of the net with 46 minutes remaining in regulation to lift D'Youville to the draw.

Lauren Marinello, Molloy (Senior, Midfielder - Merrick, N.Y.)
Marinello picked up two goals on the week, finding the back of the net in Molloy's 2-2 draw (54') with Wilmington and 3-1 win over St. Thomas Aquinas (35'). The graduate student has collected points in three-straight matches since making her first appearance of the season against Caldwell. On the week, Marinello totaled two goals on four shots, with all four coming on target.

Arielle Uy, Staten Island (Sophomore - Back, Bronx, N.Y.)
Uy had a career performance against Georgian Court, registering five points in the 3-3 draw. After picking up an assist on CSI's first goal, she erased a 3-1 deficit with two goals of her own in the second half.
