Offensive Player of the Week Alena Weibel, Roberts Wesleyan (Sophomore - Forward, Sauquoit, N.Y.) Weibel scored twice in Roberts Wesleyan's 2-0 week to open the 2023 campaign. In the season opener against Lake Erie on Thursday, Weibel broke a 1-1 tie with a 22-yard blast into the upper-right corner in the 83rd minute to lift the Redhawks to a 2-1 victory. Against Clarion on Saturday, Weibel opened the scoring in the fifth minute as the sophomore ran onto the ball about 35 yards from goal, eluded the keeper, and deposited a left-footed shot into the net from 20 yards out; the Redhawks would win that match 2-1.
Defensive Player of the Week Erin Kelly, Queens (Graduate Student - Goalkeeper, Massapequa, N.Y.)
In two starts against tough regional opponents, Kelly made a combined 16 saves against Southern Connecticut and Franklin Pierce. Making her debut against the Owls on Friday evening, Kelly made seven saves to ensure the Knights would leave the pitch with a draw in their season opener. Against #12 Franklin Pierce, the Massapequa native made a season-high nine saves on Sunday afternoon, including eight in the first half to keep the host off the scoreboard.
Rookie of the Week Maleah Tarin, Mercy (Freshman - Midfielder, Eastvale, Calif.)
In her collegiate debut, Tarin scored her first collegiate goal in the 24th minute in the Mavericks' 1-1 draw at defending Easet Region champions Franklin Pierce on Friday.

Ancksu Dixon, Mercy (Sophomore - Forward, Freeport, N.Y.) Dixon scored a goal in the Mavericks' loss to Southern N.H. on Sunday.
Isabella Radovini, Staten Island (Junior - Forward, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada)
Radovini scored her first goal of the season on Sunday against Bloomfield and picked up an assist in the Dolphins win. Combined with a five-shot effort on Thursday, her 9 shots on Sunday gave her 14 for the week, 7 of which were on target.
Jacquelyn D'Amico, Staten Island (Graduate Student - Midfielder, Staten Island, N.Y.)
D'Amico registered a goal and two assists in Sunday's 4-1 victory over Bloomfield. In the game, she finished with six shots, three on goal, in 86 minutes.
