ECC Weekly Honor Roll
Christina Franco, Queens (Junior - Outside Hitter, Lynbrook, N.Y.)
Franco recorded two double-doubles, beginning with a season-high 17 kills and 10 digs against Pace before she tallied her fourth straight double-double with 15 kills and a season-high 18 digs, two service aces and two blocks against Southern Connecticut State.
Olivia Price, Roberts Wesleyan (Sophomore - Outside Hitter, Oviedo, Fla.)
In Roberts Wesleyan's 2-0 week, Price posted 34 kills, 23 digs, and two blocks. The Redhawks sophomore went for 19 kills and 13 digs in a 3-1 win over Millersville and 15 kills and 10 digs in a 3-2 win over Dominican.
Despina Boudouris, Queens (Junior - Setter, Athens, Greece)
Over nine sets played, Boudouris recorded 85 assists, 21 digs, two service aces, and six kills. In a thrilling five-setter against Pace, Boudouris recorded her third-straight 40-plus assist performance, notching 44 assists to go with two service aces and seven digs. She would extend that performance with her fourth straight 40-plus assist performance as the junior recorded her fifth double-double of the year with 41 assists and 14 digs against a tough Owls team.
Yarianne Gonzalez, Mercy (Senior - Setter, Manati, Puerto Rico)
Gonzalez had a team-high 74 assists and 10.57 assists per set with 13 digs, eight aces and six kills as Mercy went 2-0 on the week. The senior opened the week with a match-high 42 assists and seven aces with eight digs and four kills in the win over Southern Connecticut State. The setter ended the week with a match-high 32 assists with five digs and two kills in the win over Dominican.
Dunja Masic, Daemen (Senior - Setter, McHenry, Ill.)
Masic started in three of Daemen's four matches at the Adelphi Volleyball Tournament and totaled 93 assists for an average of 9.3 assists per set. Masic added 15 digs, four kills, three aces and a block assist to her stat line.
