ECC Weekly Honor Roll
Jaycee Karelus, D'Youville (So, OH - Churchville, N.Y.)
Karelus had an impressive weekend for the Saints at the 2022 Bald Eagle Classic, recording a team-high 39 kills. She averaged 2.60 kills per set after appearing in all four matches for D'Youville. The Churchville, N.Y. was credited with 11 digs and two service aces. She finished with four total blocks.
Stephanie Lankhorst, Mercy (Sr, MB - Apeldoorn, Netherlands)
Lankhorst had 17 kills and hit a blistering .654 with two blocks in the Mavericks' 2-0 week. The senior opened the week with a season-high 10 kills on .667 hitting with two aces in the win over Caldwell on Thursday. Lankhorst ended the week with seven kills on .636 hitting with two blocks in the win over Goldey-Beacom on Saturday.
Sam Logan, Daemen (Gr, OH - Eden, N.Y.)
Daemen University outside hitter Sam Logan put together an impressive season-opening effort at the Wildcat Den Classic on Sunday, posting 17 kills for a total hitting percentage of .216 and tallying 12 digs over two matches. In the second match of the day against undefeated Clarion, Logan averaged 3.50 kills per set with her 14-kill effort, a single-game team-high this season.
Kiarra Roth, Molloy (Jr, OH - Bohemia, N.Y.)
In a 2-1 week, Roth collected 37 kills, including 16 against Southern Connecticut, and contributed 41.5 points on the week.

D'Youville: Women's Volleyball had another outstanding weekend, extending to a 4-4 record on the year. The Saints defeated Lock Haven University and Glenville State over the weekend to go 2-2. They are back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at Le Moyne. The team will then head to Indiana, Pa. for the IUP Tournament Friday and Saturday. |

Mercy: The Mercy College volleyball team went 2-0 on the week with wins over Caldwell and Goldey-Beacom to improve to 4-0 for the first time since 2001. The Mavericks were led by senior Larissa Schneid who had a team-high 27 kills. Mercy resumes action on September 13th when they play at AIC at 7 p.m. |

Molloy: Molloy went 2-1 last week. The Lions defeated Southern Connecticut State, 3-0, and fell to Post, 3-0, Friday, September 2, and defeated Dominican, 3-1 Saturday, September 3. |

Queens: A young Knights battled in all of their four contests last week including two four setters against regional opponents. Rookie Lindsay Osterhoudt was named to the GCU Invitational All-Tournament team as the Orlando native tallied 17 kills and 13 blocks throughout three matches. Queens has the week off until Saturday as they compete in the SCSU Tri-Match against Le Moyne and SCSU on Saturday in New Haven. |
