Acacia Barber, Roberts Wesleyan (Fr - Frewsburg, N.Y.)
Barber finished in 18th place with a time of 19:11.2 at the Harry F. Anderson Invite.
Jon Moote, Daemen (So - Wilson, N.Y.)
Moote was Daemen's top finisher for the second consecutive race with a 40th place showing at the Harry F. Anderson Invite. He shaved more than a minute off his previous best 8K time which came Sept. 11 at the Daemen Duels.
Kassandra Nolet, Daemen (R-Sr., Fort Erie, Ont.)
Was Daemen's top finisher for the eighth time in their last nine races dating back to 2019... posted a sub-19-minute time for the second consecutive race, helping Daemen make a statement by placing higher than regionally ranked teams Adelphi and Felician.
Njehan Phillip, Queens (Gr - Brooklyn, N.Y.)
Knights graduate student Njehan Phillipplaced 10th with a time of 29:31.4 to lead the Knights to first place among DII schools competing on Sunday.

Bridgeport: The University of Bridgeport cross country teams on Sunday traveled to Milton, N.Y. for the second time in 2021 to compete at the Mount Saint Mary (NY) College XC Series Race # 2. In the women's 6K race, junior Alexandra Toth took 15th place covering the course in a time of 29:46.3 to be the first Purple Knight across the finish line. Graduate student Alexis Richardson was the next UB finisher in 18th place in a time of 30:56.3. As a team, the UB women finished sixth out of 15 teams In the men's race, the Purple Knights finished tenth out of 20 teams in the 8K event. The top finished for the Purple Knights was junior D'Andre Collins, who took the 61st scoring place in a time of 39:14.4. Senior Tyler McNeil was just behind Collins in 62nd scoring place in a time of 39:14.5. Up next, the UB cross country teams will compete in the NJIT Invitational in Newark, New Jersey, next Saturday, October 2. |

Daemen: Daemen's cross country teams were action at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational hosted by Roberts Wesleyan this past weekend. The Daemen women made a strong statement by placing fifth, edging out regionally ranked teams Adelphi and Felician. The Daemen men placed 11th. Both Daemen teams compete this Friday at the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh. |

District of Columbia: The Firebirds came in 12th place at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, hosted by Roberts Wesleyan. Kamille Dixon led the way with a 24th place finish. UDC returns to action on October 2 at the Salisbury XC Invitational. |

D'Youville: Saints women finished 13th of 15 teams at the Harry F Anderson Invitational at Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday ... Hannah Kennedy led the way for the Saints with a time of 21:25.5 over the 5k course ... Kennedy has been the top finisher for the Saints at all three meets this season ... Saints men finished 16th of 18 teams at the ... Henry Smith was the top finisher for the Saints once again ... Smith has led the Saints in each of the three races this season ... |

Roberts Wesleyan: The Roberts cross country teams ran at its home Harry F. Anderson Invitational on Saturday. The men's team placed second out of 18 teams while the women's placed fourth out of 15 teams. Shane Pease won the race for the men followed by James Betts in second. Leading the way for the women was Bailey Gostomski who finished fifth. |

St. Thomas Aquinas: The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's and Women's Cross Country teams had the weekend off from competition, but hosted their annual alumni run at Tallman Mountain State Park in Sparkill, NY. STAC will travel to the NJIT Highlander Cross Country Challenge on October 2 (11 a.m.). |
