Kamille Dixon, District of Columbia (Fr - Houston, Texas)
Dixon had a strong showing in her collegiate debut, finishing in fifth place at the Towson Invitational. She covered the 4K course in a time of 15:30.2.
John Fitzsimmons, Molloy (Sr - Oceanside, N.Y.)
Fitzsimmons competed in the Adelphi Invitational, finishing 16th in the 8K running a 26:56.8.
Kylee Odell, Roberts Wesleyan (So - Panama, N.Y.)
Versage Odell finished first at the Fredonia Invitational. She finished in a time of 16:04.75.
Alexandra Toth, Bridgeport (Jr - Sandy Hook, Conn.)
Toth took first place at the Mt. St. Mary's XC Series Meet #1, covering the 5K course in Milton, N.Y. in a time of 22:56.1.

Bridgeport: The University of Bridgeport cross country teams opened their 2021 season on Sunday morning at the Mount Saint Mary (NY) College XC Series Race # 1 in Milton, New York. In the women's race, junior Alexandra Toth (Sandy Hook, Conn.) took first place covering the 5K course in a time of 22:56.1. Graduate student Courtney Hylock (Muskegon, Mich.) took third place in a time of 24.59.7, and classmate Alexis Richardson (Coram, N.Y.) was fifth in a time of 26:07.3 In the men's race, the Purple Knights finished second behind Yeshiva University, 19-37. The top finished for the Purple Knights was junior D'Andre Collins (Newark, N.J.), who took seventh place covering the 5K course in a time of 20:15.8. Up next, the UB cross country teams will compete in the Fred Pavlich Invitational at Bard on September 18. |

Daemen: Daemen opened the 2021 season this past weekend by participating in the Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational hosted by Le Moyne. It marked the first cross country meet for the Wildcats in nearly 650 days. The Daemen women placed first, claiming their first race victory since 2017. They were paced by freshman Marcy Colca who paced the field of the 4K race, while teammates Kassandra Nolet and Courtney Merrill placed second and fourth, respectively. The Daemen men were without two of their top runners but managed to place fifth out of six competing teams. The Wildcats will be back in action this Saturday when they host the Daemen Duels. |

District of Columbia: The Firebirds came in fifth out of six teams at the Towson Invitational to open the season. Kamille Dixon was a bright spot in her collegiate debut, coming in fifth place in a time of 15:30.2. Next up for UDC is the Goldey-Beacome Fall Classic on September 17. |

D'Youville: Saints finished second (women) and third (men) at the Daniel Walker Invitational ... Henry Smith led the way with a seventh place finish for the men ... David Oswald was 14th ... Women were paced by newcomer Hannah Kennedy who finished seventh ... Megan Deer was ninth ... |

Molloy: The Lions opened the season at the Adelphi Invitational Friday, September 3. Freshman Kaitlyn Mohr took home the top spot in the women's 5k, crossing the line in 19:15.6. Sophomore Kristi Ackerina placed 10th, completing the course in 20:24.7. On the men's side, Senior John Fitzsimmons placed 16th completing the 8k course in 26:56.8, and freshman Frank Ferrante finished 23rd running a time of 27:35.1. |

Queens: After placing 10th (men) and 11th (women) in the Adelphi Panthers XC Invite, the Knights will have three weeks to regroup before hitting the courses again. The Knights will travel to Milton, N.Y. as they compete in the Mount Saint Mary XC Series on Sept. 26. |

Roberts Wesleyan: The Roberts cross country teams ran at the Fredonia Invitational this past weekend turning in impressive early-season performances. The men's team took five of the top ten spots while the women's team claimed the top four places. The Redhawks will compete again at home on Sept. 25 at the Harry F. Anderson Invite. |

Staten Island: The College of Staten Island men's & women's Cross-Country teams placed 12th overall among the 14 teams in the official team competition as part of the Adelphi Panthers Invite in Bethpage, N.Y. The women finished ahead of Farmingdale State College and Yeshiva University with a total time of 2:23:27.00, less than five minutes behind 11th placed ECC rival, Queens College. Up next for both squads will be the Fordham Fiasco Invite at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, N.Y. on Saturday, September 11. Shotgun times will be 11:15 a.m. for the women and 11:45 a.m. for the men. |
