ECC Weekly Honor Roll
Omar El Shehawey, Queens (So - Cairo, Egypt)
Promoted to the No. 3 singles court, Shehawey ended his week on a three-match win streak defeating LIU's Akhil Indrabalan and Bentley's Connor Aulson in straight sets.
Eduard Simo, St. Thomas Aquinas (Gr - Barcelona, Spain)
Eduard Simo went 2-0 in his doubles and singles matches last week against Adelphi, helping the Spartans to a 5-2 victory. Simo picked up a 6-4 doubles victory over the team of Marko Jovanovic & Gabriel Balestero, with partner Ludovico Truffelli. He then scored a 6-2, 6-2 singles win over Gabriel Balestero.
Philipp Uhde, Queens (Fr - Heidelberg, Germany)
Uhde improved to 2-0 in regional play as he defeated Bentley's Alexander Novins in straight sets 6-4, 6-1 to help the Knights pick up their second straight regional victory of the season.
