Men
Udoka Odemene, Holy Family (Fr - Sicklerville, N.J.)
Freshman Udoka Odoemene highlighted the meet with another record-breaking performance in the weight throw. Odoemene finished sixth overall with a distance of 45'5.25" (13.85m) breaking his own school record set last week at the Fastrack Season Opener in his collegiate debut, recording a distance of 41'5.25" (12.63m). Odoemene also competed in the shot put and finished ninth overall with a distance of 44'1.5" (13.45m).
Women
Kamille Dixon, District of Columbia (So - Houston, Texas)
Dixon placed third in the 1000m at the Seahawk Shootout with the top DII time of the event at 3:10.89. She went on to run the second leg of the 4x400 which placed third with a time of 4:09.51.
Abagaile Kimbrell, St. Thomas Aquinas (Gr - Monroe, N.Y.)
Kimbrell finished fifth in the 3000 Meter Run at the Wagner College Seahawk Shootout. Kimbrell crossed the finish line in a time of 10:31.39 and was the top finisher among ECC competitors.
Kaitlyn Mohr, Molloy (Fr - Rockville Centre, N.Y.)
Mohr competed at the Wagner Seahawk Shootout Friday afternoon. Mohr broke the 3000-meters school record that she set the previous week, running a time of 10:45.68 to finish ninth.
Ava Thompson, Staten Island (Fr - Staten Island, N.Y.)
Spoldi Thompson placed 14th in the weight throw at the Seahawk Shootout. Her toss of 11.49m was good for second among Division II competitors and is the fourth best in the ECC so far this season.

Daemen: After opening the season Dec. 3 at the Houghton Indoor Meet, Daemen was idle last week. The Wildcats will resume their season Jan. 22 at the Highlander Invitational which is also hosted by Houghton. |

District of Columbia: The University of the District of Columbia's women's indoor track and field team concluded the fall semester at the Seahawk Shootout hosted by Wagner College, Friday night at the Ocean Breeze indoor facility. UDC was able to hold their own in a meet filled with big Division I teams. Ayesha Jarrett placed fourth out of a field of 60, in the 60m with a time of 8.10s, which was the second-best Division II time of the meet. She went on to run 41.84s in the 300m which was good for 11th overall out of a field of 65 and the top DII time of the meet. Jarrett closed out the meet anchoring the 4x400m team for the Firebirds that placed third out of a field of eight other teams. Kamille Dixon also had an impressive showing placing third in the 1000m with a time of 3:10.89 which was the best D2 time of the meet. She also ended the meet placing third in the 4X400m alongside teammates Fanta Sanogo, Iyanna Jackson, and Jarrett. Danejah Kyle had the fastest DII time in the 60m hurdles placing sixth overall with a season-best time of 9.40s. UDC will take a break over the holidays but will be back in action on January 15th to compete at the HBCU Showcase which will be held at the armory in Manhattan N.Y. |

Georgian Court: Georgian Court is until Saturday, January 15 when the Lions compete in the TCNJ Indoor Invitational (hosted by the NYC Armory). |

Holy Family: Holy Family competed in the Seahawk Shootout hosted by Wagner College this past Friday at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island. On the men's side, freshman Udoka Odoemene highlighted the meet with another record-breaking performance in the weight throw. Odoemene finished sixth overall with a distance of 45?5.25? (13.85m) breaking his own school record set the week prior at the Fastrack Season Opener in his collegiate debut. Fellow freshman Micah Cooper established the program's first record in the pole vault becoming the first men's field athlete to compete in the event. He finished ninth overall with a height of 13'11.25" (4.25m). On the women's side, Kahdia Jones and Nyoki Jones each broke the school record in the 300-meters. Kahdia finished 14th overall with a new school record of 41.98 seconds, while Nyoki followed in 15th with a time of 42.00 seconds. Nyoki held the school record with a previous best of 42.07 set two years ago in the same meet. In the pole vault event, junior Jillian Gatley broke her own school record-setting a new personal best with a height of 9'2.25" (2.80m). Gatley's previous school record in the event was set at the 2019 Fastrack Season Opener with a height of 8?10.25? (2.70m). |

Staten Island: The College of Staten Island Men's & Women's Indoor Track & Field teams competed in their first Seahawk Shootout Invite at the Ocean Breeze Track Complex in Staten Island, NY. In all, 20 Division I & II schools participated in the plethora of track & field events. CSI competed in eight events in total; four of which recorded new school & personal best records. |

St. Thomas Aquinas: The St. Thomas Aquinas College Indoor Track & Field team competed at the Wagner College Seahawk Shootout inside of the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island. STAC will return to action after the holiday break on Jan. 7 at the Wagner College Invitational, which will be held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex. Events get underway at 1 p.m. |
