ECC Weekly Honor Roll
Jaden Drollinger, Bridgeport (Fr, S - Queens Creek, Ariz.)
Freshman Jaden Drollinger directed the Bridgeport offense to the tune of 10.13 assists per set, and she posted a double-double in two UB wins on the week. In a five-set victory over Caldwell, she had a season-high 56 assists with 14 digs, and Drollinger followed that up with 25 assists and 11 digs in a 3-0 road win over Roberts Wesleyan. She also had eight kills, four service aces and one block on the week. So far this season, Jaden is averaging 10.4 assists per set, plus she leads the team with 23 total service aces.
Yarianne Gonzalez, Mercy (Jr, S - Manati, Puerto Rico)
Gonzalez had a team-high 70 assists with 18 digs and seven kills as Mercy went 2-0. The junior had 32 assists, five digs, and two kills in the win over Dominican on Tuesday. The setter ended the week with five kills, 38 assists, and 13 digs in the win over Roberts Wesleyan on Sunday.
Sam Logan, Daemen (Sr, OH - Eden, N.Y.)
Averaged 3.78 kills per set on a .301 hitting percentage to help Daemen to a 2-1 record... after posting 13 kills in a 3-0 win over preseason ECC favorite Molloy, Logan recorded a career-high 18 kills in a four-set loss to Southern Connecticut State... it's the fifth time in Logan's career that she's recorded 10+ kills in back-to-back matches.
Larissa Schneid, Mercy (Jr, OH - Sao Paulo, Brazil)
Schneid had a team-high 27 kills and eight aces with 13 digs as Mercy went 2-0 on the week. The junior opened the week with 13 kills, four aces and nine digs in the win over Dominican on Tuesday. The outside hitter ended the week with 14 kills, four aces, four digs and three blocks in the win over Roberts Wesleyan on Sunday.

Bridgeport: The University of Bridgeport women's volleyball will enter a busy week of action on a three-match winning streak and with a 6-3 overall record and a 1-0 ECC mark after defeating Caldwell and Roberts Wesleyan last week. This week, UB travels to New Haven on Tuesday, hosts Queens (NY) on Wednesday, and closes the week out at Molloy on Saturday. Freshman Paola Hernandez leads the Bridgeport offense averaging 3.5 kills per set. Senior Amanda Keller is the team leader in hitting percentage at .388, and she also leads the team in blocks with 24 so far this season. Freshman Jaden Drollinger is directing the UB offense to the tune of 10.4 assists per set, and she leads Bridgeport in service aces with 23. Grad student Amanda Hennemann is the team leader in digs with 99 in 35 sets played this year. |

Daemen: Daemen posted a 2-1 record last week, winning their first two ECC matches of the season and improving to 7-6 overall. The Wildcats breezed to a 3-0 victory over Queens, and followed that with a 3-0 win at Molloy in a matchup between teams picked first and second in the preseason coaches' poll. A 3-1 setback to Southern Connecticut State kept the Wildcats from sweeping the weekend. Daemen hosts Roberts Wesleyan (Sept. 30) and St. Rose (Oct. 2) this week. |

Mercy: The Mercy College volleyball team went 2-0 on the week with wins over Dominican and Roberts Wesleyan. The Mavericks were led by Larissa Schneid who had a team-high 27 kills. Mercy resumes action on Tuesday when they host Stonehill at 7 p.m. |

Molloy: Molloy went 3-1 on the week, topping Adelphi (3-2) and SCSU (3-1) in non-conference play while sweeping D'Youville to go to 1-1 in league play. The Lions will play Mercy (Sept. 29), New Haven (Sept. 30), and Bridgeport (Oct. 2) this week. |

Queens: The Knights went 1-1 to open conference play and will look to keep that momentum going as they go up against the University of Bridgeport Wednesday night. |

Roberts Wesleyan: The Roberts women's volleyball team dropped matches to Bridgeport and Mercy over the weekend. The Redhawks will play away at Daemen this Thursday and will host Saint Rose on Friday. |
