Bridgeport, Conn. - Prior to Thursday night's East Coast Conference semifinal contest, Meaghan O'Callaghan (Massapequa, N.Y.) of Molloy College was named the winner of the East Coast Conference Elite 19 Award winner for the sport of women's soccer. The ECC Elite 19 honor is awarded to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average competing in each of the ECC's 19 championships.
O'Callaghan, a sophomore Childhood Education major with a specialty in math, has a perfect 4.0 GPA. A key contributor for the Lions, O'Callaghan has scored five goals in 15 matches played on the year.
