Russelville, Ark. - Susanne Vistnes and Kristin
Brandman of LIU Post, Bella Mitrevski of Roberts Wesleyan, and
Nicole Augustine of Mercy have been named to the 2014
Daktronics/Division II Conference Commissioners Association Women's
Soccer All-America Team.
Vistnes, the ECC Offensive Player of the Year for the third
straight season, earns her second consecutive Daktronics
All-America honor as a First Team selection. In 19 games, Vistnes
led the ECC with 19 goals and 48 points. She also ranked third in
the conference with 10 assists. Nationally, Vistnes ranks third in
goals and second in points, while also ranking third in goals per
game (1.0) and points per game (2.58).
Brandman, the ECC Defensive Player of the Year, grabs a spot on the
Second Team. Brandman anchored the Pioneer back line that allowed
only 14 goals over 19 games.
Mitrevski finds her name on the Third Team after scoring 16 goals
and passing off six assists on the season. Her point (38) and goal
totals were both good for second in the conference behind
Vistnes.
Augustine wraps up the ECC representation as an Honorable Mention
pick. Augustine posted a 17-3-1 mark in net for the ECC Champion,
Mavericks. She totaled 61 saves and was second in the ECC with an
.824 save percentage.
