Nine Earn IWLCA All-America Status

Grand Lake, Colo. - Nine women's lacrosse student-athletes from the East Coast Conference have been selected to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division II All-America Team.

Three of the nine were First Team selections. Making the First Team cut are Mercy's Hunter Isnardi and Connor Bird and Olivia Kirk of LIU Post. Isnardi, also the ECC Offensive Player of the Year, finished the year with 78 points on 71 goals and seven assists. She ranked No. 17 in Division II with 3.55 goals per game. In addition, she finished second in the country with 9.1 draw controls per game and set a Division II record with 182 draw controls on the season.

Bird finished with 61 points on 41 goals and 20 assists to finish as the Pioneers second leading scorer. She also accumulated 60 draw controls on the season.

Kirk, who repeated as the ECC Goalkeeper of the Year, finished with a 16-3 record and led all of Division II with a .543 save percentage. She also allowed a 6.42 goals against average.

ECC standouts who were selected to the Second Team are Cara Douglas and Ryan McKinney of LIU Post and Erin Smith and Karie Znaniecki of NYIT.

Wrapping up the ECC selections with Third Team honors are Cassley Jackowski of Roberts Wesleyan and Talia Stagnitta of Mercy.
