King of Prussia, Pa. - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has named Oliva Kirk of LIU Post as the recipient of the C. Markland Kelly Division II Goalkeeper of the Year honor.
Kirk, the ECC Goalkeeper of the Year, compiled a 17-4 mark between the pipes in helping the Pioneers capture an ECC Championship and NCAA Tournament berth. She also compiled a Division II-high .580 save percentage and a 4.50 goals against average on the year. Her goals against average was good for second in the country. Kirk also finished with 120 saves on the year.
Kirk was presented the award at the All-America banquet held on June 4 at the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge in King of Prussia, Pa.
