Grand Lake, Colo. - Fifteen women's lacrosse student-athletes from the East Coast Conference have been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-North Region teams. Four earned First Team honors, while seven were named to the Second Team and four also earned Third Team honors.
The LIU Post Pioneers led the way with seven selections. Four were first team selections including ECC Offensive Player of the Year, Emily Delaney, Defensive Player of the Year, Brittany Smith, and Goalkeeper of the Year, Olivia Kirk. They were joined by teammate Honey Roche on the First Team. The Pioneers were also represented on the Second Team by Connor Bird and Cara Douglas and Ryan McKinney was a Third Team pick..
Dowling was next with four selection. Katie Meinecke, Allie Merrill, and Erin Smith were all Second Team honorees, while Brooke Kresucher earned a spot on the Third Team.
Rounding out the ECC representation on the teams are Chelsea Bauer and Cooper Sesselman of Molloy College and Grace Davisdon and ECC Rookie of the Year, Hunter Isnardi, of Mercy College. Davidson and Sesselman were Second Team picks, while Bauer and Isnardi earned a spot on the Third Team.
