Grand Lake, Colo. - Ten women's lacrosse student-athletes from the East Coast Conference have been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-North Region teams. Four earned First Team honors, while three were named to both the Second and Third Teams.
The LIU Post Pioneers led the way with five selections. Three were first team selections including ECC Co-Defensive Player of the Year, Emily Hanifan. Hanifan was joined by Emily Delaney and Jenna Pierro. The Pioneers were also represented on the Second Team by Connor Bird and Kali Maxwell.
Dowling had three selections for the second straight season. ECC Offensive Player of the Year, Jackie Andersen, was the Golden Lions' lone First Team pick. Allie Merrill earned a spot on the Second Team and Melissa Guglielmo was a Third Team selection to round out the Dowling honorees.
Rounding out the ECC representation on the teams are Meghan Orlando and Cooper Sesselman of Molloy College. Both were Third Team selections.
