Brendan McDaniels Announced as Roberts Wesleyan’s Women’s Lacrosse Head Coach

Rochester, N.Y. – Roberts Wesleyan College Athletic Director Mike Faro announced Brendan McDaniels as the second head women's lacrosse coach in program history on Monday Nov. 26.  McDaniels served as an assistant coach during the Redhawks inaugural season in 2012 helping the team to a 5-8 overall record.

"I am very excited about the opportunity to build a quality lacrosse program here at Roberts Wesleyan,"McDaniels said.  "I would like to thank the administration at Roberts Wesleyan for giving me this unique opportunity to develop a young lacrosse program to meet the values, character, and beliefs that the Roberts embraces. I look forward to working with our student-athletes to foster an environment where everyone can be successful both on and off the field."

McDaniels has also served as the head women's lacrosse coach in Niagara County Community College in 2009 and head coach of the boy's lacrosse program at St. Mary's High School in suburban Buffalo.  In three seasons at St. Mary's (2005-07), he led the team to two consecutive Independent Lacrosse Conference championship games while mentoring eight First Team All-Conference players.
