Indianapolis, Ind. – Top-ranked and
undefeated LIU Post will have a chance to defend their National
Championship after earning the top seed in the North Region bracket
of the NCAA Division II Women’s Lacrosse Championship field
announced on Sunday evening.
As top seed, the 17-0 Pioneers will host No. 4 seed Stonehill on
May 11. LIU Post already owns a win over the Skyhawks this season,

for LIU Post. The Pioneers, 9-7 all-time in NCAA Tournament play,
are seeking their first ever repeat as National Champions and the
fourth overall in program history.
The winner of the LIU Post-Stonehill matchup will face the winner
of the Adelphi – LeMoyne matchup on the other side of the
North Region bracket in the semifinals on May 18. The National
Championship game will then take place on May 19. Both the
semifinals and championship game will be played at Mustang Stadium
at Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Md.
