DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy College
women's lacrosse team took some time just before Christmas to write
holiday cards to children with life-threatening illnesses through
the Website www.sendkidstheworld.com.
Head Coach Francesca DeLorenzo's squad spent December 19th sending
holiday postcards to children all over the United States as part of
the Send Kids The World program, which provides a forum for people
across the globe to send cards to children with life-threatening
illnesses. Cards are sent from several continents and dozens
of countries on a daily basis, with the women's lacrosse team
sharing the magic of New York this winter to brighten children's
lives.
