Grand Lake, Colo. - Eleven women’s
lacrosse student-athletes from the East Coast Conference have been
named to the 2011 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches
Association All-Region Teams.
The ECC Champion Dowling College Golden Lions place five players on
the teams, including three on the first team. ECC Player of the
Year Cassandra Cronin (Sr., M), Samantha Titus (Sr., D) and Brooke
Witkowski (Jr., A) were First Team selections while ECC Goalkeeper
of the Year Rachael Goldstein (Sr., GK) and Nicolle Moran (So., A)
were named to the Second Team.
ECC runner-up, C.W. Post, equaled Dowling with five selections and
three on the First Team. Chelsea Donaldson (Jr., D), ECC
Rookie of the Year Jaclyn Sileo (Fr., A), and Lauren Spagnoletta
(Jr., M) took home First Team honors with Brie Claire Drost (Jr.,
M) and Michelle Fucich (Sr., A) were placed on the Second Team.
Emily Antonette of Molloy College on the Second Team rounds out the
ECC representation.
