West Babylon, N.Y. – Rachel Hirst of tournament champion Wilmington University, headlines the East Coast Conference Women's Bowling Championship All-Tournament Team announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Hirst claims the Most Outstanding Bowler honor after leading the Wildcats to their first-ever ECC title and NCAA Championship appearance. Over a tournament-high 120 frames, Hirst compiled a 20.60 frame average and filled 89.2 percent of her frames. Hirst was phenomenal during the final mega match against Adelphi, leading all bowlers with a score of 267 during the traditional portion of the match.
Other All-Tournament Team selections were decided by their frame average during the championship. Earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team were Daemen’s Paige Bartosz (20.44) and Mollie Gizicki (21.27), Adelphi’s Kristen Derr (21.90), Wilmington’s KC Miller (20.12), and Caldwell’s Rhianna Smith (20.79).
