Allendale, Mich. - Two student-athletes from the East Coast Conference recently competed in the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Grand Valley St.
The two ECC standouts were Rachel Hust of Roberts Wesleyan and Katie Gallagher of Molloy. Hust became the first student-athlete from Roberts Wesleyan to ever take part in a NCAA Track & Field Championship by running in the 1,500 meter event. Hust was placed in the second heat where she finished eighth and 15th overall in a time of 4:36.12.
Gallagher was a participant in the high jump event. She cleared 1.65 meters (5-5) to finish in a tie for 13th place.
