Carla Campagna and Jeana Frey of ECC Champion, Molloy, were joined by Dowling’s Jessie Stavola on the Third Team. Campagna, the 2011 ECC Player of the Year, put together another outstanding season in her senior campaign for the Lions. She finished with a .402 batting average to go along with nine doubles, 12 homeruns, and 51 runs batted in. Her hit (74) and RBI totals were good for first in the ECC.

Teammate Jeana Frey also excelled in leading the Lions to an ECC title and a spot in the NCAA East Region Super Regional. Her .430 batting average was tops in the conference and she tied Campagna for the hit lead, also posting 74. Frey was a standout in the outfield as well, making only one error on the season. This is Frey’s second straight Daktronics All-America selection after being named to the First Team in 2011.

Stavola, another two-time All-American, makes her second straight appearance on the Daktronics Third Team. In 36 appearances in the circle, she posted a 22-9 record to go along with a 1.39 earned run average. Stavola rang up 282 batters and allowed batters to hit only .172 against her in 192 innings pitched.
