Starkville, Miss. – For the second consecutive year, Nicole Hagenah of C.W. Post is the lone East Coast Conference representative on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association’s Division II All-America Team. After a being a First Team pick a year ago, Hagenah grabs a spot on the Third Team in 2012.
Hagenah, the 2012 ECC Player of the Year, finished in the top-ten in the conference in almost every offensive category. In 59 games she hit .371 (63-for-170) with 13 doubles, 11 homeruns, 48 runs batted in, and a .653 slugging percentage.
The selection also comes at a second position for Hagenah. After making the team as a third baseman in 2011, she earned a spot on this year’s squad as a short stop.
