Starkville, Miss. - Freshman third baseman Nicole Hagenah of C.W. Post has been named a First Team Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American.
Hagenah, the 2011 ECC Rookie of the Year, continues to rack up post-season honors. After finishing in the top three in the ECC in batting average (.469), hits (75), runs (42), RBI (61), total bases (129), and home runs (14), Hagenah was named to both the NFCA and Daktronics All-Region First Team.
The only ECC representative on the All-America squads, Hagenah also helped lead the Pioneers to the NCAA Division II Softball Championships.
