Starkville, Miss. - The National Fastpitch
Coaches Association announced their All-Region teams on Thursday
afternoon, with 14 ECC student-athletes named to the East Region
Teams.
The East Coast Conference dominated the First Team selections,
taking home 10 of the 13 spots on the team. C.W. Post, Dowling, and
Molloy each had three players named to the First Team, while Mercy
picked up one.
First Team members include; Jessie Stavola (P, Dowling), Christina
Berardi (P, C.W. Post), Emily Slack (C, Dowling), Carla Campagna
(1B, Molloy), Kendall Bright (2B, C.W. Post), Nicole Hagenah (3B,
C.W. Post), Jeana Frey (OF, Molloy), Chelsea Methot (OF, Mercy),
Stephanie Tarango (DP, Dowling), and Megan Butterworth (U-P,
Molloy).
Both Dowling and Molloy had two players named to the Second Team as
well to place a region high five players on the All-Region
teams.
Second Team members are; Felicia Mendoza (P, Dowling), Haley
Calderwood (3B, Molloy), Nicolette Sinagra (SS, Molloy), and Deana
Tortorici (OF, Dowling).
