Rolla, Ma - Dowling freshman designated player Stephanie Tarango was named to the 2010 Daktronics, Inc., All-America Softball First Team while C.W. Post senior short shop Christie Softy earned Honorable Mention honors.
Tarango helped lead the Golden Lions to the 2010 ECC Championship title, hitting .366 on the season while ranking second in the ECC with 66 RBI and 16 homeruns.
Named the ECC Player of the Year, Softy capped her career with a .367 batting average while leading the conference in RBIs (67) and homeruns (17).
