Central Islip, N.Y. - Seven East Coast Conference student-athletes earned All-East honors on the 2009 Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division II All-Region teams, released on May 14. Two 13-member teams were selected for eight NCAA regions, totaling 107 student-athletes
ECC Player of the Year Samantha Johnson (OF, Adelphi) is joined by C.W. Post's Christie Softy (SS) and Dowling's Jackie Hannan (1B) and Emily Slack (C) on the First Team.
Jessica Vogt (SS, Adelphi), Sarah Kiser (P, C.W. Post) and Melissa Medina (OF, C.W. Post) garnered Second Team Honors.
