Perry, N.Y. - Five East Coast Conference men's
lacrosse teams were listed in the latest United States
Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division II Poll.
Dowling is the first ECC school listed at No. 4. The Golden Lions
jumped up two spots from No. 6 last week after defeating ranked
opponents Merrimack, 10-9, and NYIT, 10-7. The wins improved

come against ranked opponents, while their only blemish to date was
an overtime loss to No. 1 Le Moyne.
Coming in at No. 9 is LIU Post. The Pioneers fell four spots after
dropping an ECC contest to Molloy by a score of 8-7. With the
victory, Molloy jumped up two spots to No. 12 in the poll. The win
was the first ever over LIU Post in Molloy's history.
Sandwiched between LIU Post and Molloy is NYIT at No. 10. The loss
to Dowling moved the Bear's record to 4-3 on the season, leading to
a one spot drop from the previous poll.
The last ECC squad mentioned in the poll is Chestnut Hill at No.
