Oakdale, N.Y. - The Dowling Men's Lacrosse
squad once again teamed up with the Big Brothers/Sisters of Long
Island to donate clothes to those in need during the holiday
season.
This is the fifth straight year that the organization has
benefitted from Dowling Athletics. With over 70 bags of clothing
the team lined the gym full of them. Each bag would be sorted
through and distributed to those families that are less fortunate
around Long Island.
"They always said it is better to give than to receive, with the
holidays around the corner we thought we could make a few families
smile again." said Head Coach Tim Boyle. "We continue to increase
the number of clothes each year, that means more families will
benefit which makes us a very happy team and program"
