Indianapolis - The C.W. Post Pioneers and the Mercyhurst Lakers men’s lacrosse teams both earned NCAA Tournament berths announced on Sunday night. The two ECC rivals will square off in a national semi-final matchup on Saturday, May 21 at Hickox Field on the campus of C.W. Post.
The Pioneers earn their third straight tournament appearance and will look to capture their third consecutive National Championship. The Lakers make their first appearance in the NCAA field since 2007.
Limestone College will host the other semi-final and will take on Adelphi University.
The winner of the semi-final contests will move on to the National Championship game on Sunday, May 29 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md.
