Justin Reyes of St. Thomas Aquinas has been named a Division II All-American by two different publications it was announced on Monday afternoon.
Reyes, the East Coast Conference Player of the Year for the second consecutive year, was selected as a First Team All-American by the Basketball Times and also earned Second Team honors in the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (DIICCA) list.
To date, Reyes has averaged 20.4 points per game and 9.5 rebounds per game in helping lead the Spartans to their first-ever East Region Championship and appearance in the NCAA Division II Elite Eight. Reyes also is 11th in Division II with 15 double-doubles on the year, ranks in the top-15 in the country with a field goal percentage of 62.3 and 25th in the nation with 2.13 steals per game.
