All-Conference Awards

League of Legends

Top of the Year/First Team
Ifa "Mograth" Afariogun, New York Tech (Sr.)

Coach's Notes: Our top laner for this season really wanted to focus on getting back on the grind of playing to get better on a weekly basis. So he focused on making sure he would get his weekly games in so that he would be more than ready for our tournament matches. Ifa this season really became a true clutch player whenever things would go south for us he would be there for the team and make sure he did his job and more so that we would be set up for success.

Second Team
Paulo "STU Dolphin" Delfino, St. Thomas

Jungler of the Year/First Team
Jordan "JReal" Ramos, Farmingdale St.

Coach's Notes: Jordan is our captain, shot-caller, and most important player on the team. He was a main factor in our win over Molloy college in the regular season.

Second Team
Matt "ho2" Byrne, Molloy

Mid of the Year/First Team
Kellen "Blue Violet" Marcella, Molloy

Second Team
Hector "Hecti12" Enriquez, New York Tech (Sr.)

Coach's Notes: As team captain, I really wanted to push for the victory this year and unfortunately I wasn't able to accomplish that, but I am that I hit Masters and got back into it without much struggle. I am also very proud of my teammates for putting the effort in during practice and in our SoloQ grind during the season.

ADC of the Year/First Team
Jordan "Anjerisu" Williams, New York Tech (Jr.)

Coach's Notes: This was Jordan's second year in the team and I gotta say he deserves MVP of the season for us at least he really stepped up this year, both his work ethic and his motivation to want the team to succeed really skyrocketed compared to last year. He was being very proactive when it came to drafting and practicing bot lane on his own time while trying his best to be a consistent carry for our team. We are very proud of what he has accomplished this year and I can't wait how good he will be next year.

Second Team
Fabian "HotandGay" Torres, Farmingdale St.

Coach's Notes: Fabian could play every single style of ADC and do it better than anyone in the league, If you were to watch any game he played this year, there is not a single lane that Fabian and bosen lost. Every team including NYIT and Molloy were forced to play defensive and never were able to get leads in lane. Even in the playoff match we lost bosen and Fabian 2v2 killed NYIT's Bottom lane multiple times.

Support of the Year/First Team
Joe "LesboforLillia" Brandenstater, New York Tech (Jr.)

Coach's Notes: Joe has truthfully been a rock for our team in the sense that he has been there for the team when we need him. He had been struggling with positions in our team and I'm very thankful for his flexibility to play 3 different roles at a good level. When we were able to finally draft the team he really came in clutch and performed so well on his enchanters.

Second Team
Anastasios "Tazo" Papazylou, Molloy

Rocket League

Most Outstanding Player/First Team
Maxim "Muckz" Kleyer, Staten Island

Coach's Notes: Muckz had another dominant season for CSI has they went on to win the ECC Championship this past semester. Having netted 41 goals and 25 assists during the season, he not only led his team on the field but his stellar communication skills and in game leadership propelled his team even further this season. Max during the season was the Shooter of the Week in Week 9.

Second Team (Tie)
Justin "STAZZY" Martin, Molloy

Coach's Notes: Stazzy has been the third for Molloy Rocket League, holding down the defensive side for the team and leading counterattacks that have been key to Molloy’s undefeated regular season.

Mark "Reversal" Alban, Molloy

Coach's Notes: Reversal has shown his effect on the team since he’s joined, providing a large effect on the offensive side of the Molloy Rocket league team.

Super Smash Bros: Ultimate 3 v 3

Most Outstanding Player/First Team
Matt "Ampe" Otterstedt, St. Thomas Aquinas

Second Team (Tie)
Nick "Derpager" Shalaba, St. Thomas Aquinas

Matt "Percival" Pinto, New York Tech (1st Yr Med.)

Coach's Notes: Percival, also known as Matthew Pinto, is the backbone of the New York Tech Smash 3v3 Team. He is not only an in game leader but also an out of game leader, making sure our players are in the correct headspace before and during the matches. A high level strategist he is able to adapt on the fly to condition opponents into a specific play style. He is a consistent player who even in tight situations is able to secure victory for the team. Joycons are his controller of choice to 'smash' the competition.

Super Smash Bros: Ultimate 1 v 1

Most Outstanding Player/First Team
Nicholas Shalaba, St. Thomas Aquinas (So.)

Second Team
Zachary Longua, St. Thomas Aquinas

Valorant

Most Outstanding Player
Kyle "7IQ" Collins, Staten Island (Fr.)

Coach's Notes: Kyle sparked the CSI team as he emerged into the team’s most dangerous threat, amassing 256 kills and a 1.63 k/d ratio this Spring. Kyle managed to win both Fragger of the Week and Highest Average Combat Score in Weeks 5 & 9 this semester.

Second Team (Tie)
Alex "PYRO HA HA" Portillo, Farmingdale St.

Coach's Notes: Alex Portillo is 18 years old from Long Island, NY. He has been playing Valorant since it's beta and is not only a phenomenal teammate to his peers, but a great friend as well. He showed up to his games this season and gave it his all every time. He consistently kept his cool and took match MVP most games he participated in.

Overwatch

Most Outstanding DPS/First Team
Will "Willman" Keller, Molloy

Second Team DPS
Sean "Pepto" Derba, Southern New Hampshire

Most Outstanding Tank/First Team
Shane "Weast" Drucker, Staten Island (Sr.)

Coach's Notes:

Second Team Tank (Tie)
Kevin "Bearing Metro" Hart, Molloy

Matt "Palzee" Hansell, Southern New Hampshire

Coach's Notes: Matt, normally our Main Tank sub, has taken center stage in these last two seasons of the ECC. His Reinhardt has shut down opposing tanks on Kings Row and Hanamura alike, those being the primary maps in his pool. Even as a substitute, Matthew's leadership is clearly apparent when he slots into the roster, taking charge of the push and pull of the Rein duels he takes. While he was only able to play King's Row in the finals, his confidence showed in the final point hold, as he managed to stall Molloy out and push SNHU to a 2-0 lead.

Most Outstanding Support/First Team
Gavin "BSOE" Duggan, Southern New Hampshire

Coach's Notes: Gavin, our Flex Support and the highest SR player on the team, utilized his knowledge to help the rest of the team grow. He led VOD reviews for our newer members, helping them better understand any mistakes that were made or how to best utilize their kit in different situations. His hero pool, focusing on Ana and Zenyatta, has been the primary point we have based our comps around, to give more resources to Gavin across the board. This combination of leadership in reviews and consistently strong performance in game has made BSOE an invaluable addition to the SNHU roster.

Second Team Support
Jared "Combat Frog" Chan, Molloy

Most Outstanding Player (Tie)
Sean "Pepto" Derba, Southern New Hampshire

Coach's Notes: Sean is the longest tenured member of our team, playing from his Freshman year in 2019 on Off Tank, until his recent shift to DPS in the return to campus. Moving from role to role put him in an excellent position to be molded to the team's needs, and he filled the position perfectly. His Tracer and Echo play have applied tough to match pressure to the backlines of every team we have faced in the last year, syncing up excellent with Rhino's Wrecking Ball on his maps. Sean has taken his experience over the last few years and taken the reins in fights he feels he can influence, becoming a vocal leader when necessary, including in the Finals. His synergy with the team across roles helped lead SNHU to our 33-0 map record throughout the season.
