PHILADELPHIA- PA. – Five members of East Coast Conference squads have been named to the 2010 Daktronics Baseball All-East Region teams, announced on May 13.
ECC Player of the Year Zack Graczyk (Fr., OF, C.W. Post) and ECC Pitcher of the Year Gabriel Duran (Jr., Dowling) are joined by senior outfielder T.J. Greig (Molloy) on the First Team.
Junior first baseman Robert LaRusso from Molloy and senior outfielder Frank Intagliata from Dowling earned Second Team nods.
Graczyk leads the Pioneers with a .369 batting average on the season, driving in 31 runs off 66 hits while crossing the plate 51 times. He helped his team secure the ECC Regular Season and Tournament titles and will look to be the difference-maker at the NCAA East Regional this weekend.
Duran finished the 2010 campaign with a minimal .74 ERA allowing just five earned runs in 60.2 innings pitched. He compiled 5-3 record and struck out 68 batters in his nine appearances on the mound.
Greig led the Lion bats this season, posting a .376 batting average. He tallied six homeruns, three triples and nine doubles while driving in 37 runs and scoring 41 himself.
Intagliata led the Golden Lions with a .354 batting average and swiped 23 bases on the season. LaRusso hit .321 this year, leading Molloy with 18 doubles.
