Central Islip, N.Y. - The NCBWA as well as the ABCA & Rawlings NCAA Division II East All-Region Baseball Teams were announced today. Six ECC baseball student-athletes collected honors between the two.
ECC Player of the Year, Zack Graczyk (Fr., OF. C.W. Post) along with ECC Pitcher of the Year, Gabriel Duran (Jr., Dowling) earned First Team nods on both All-Region Teams. Grazczyk was also named the ABCA & Rawlings East Region Rookie of the Year.
T.J. Greig (Sr., 2B, Molloy) was named to the NCBWA First Team while earning ABCA & Rawlings Second Team honors.
C.W. Post senior pitcher, Pete Budkevics, was also recognized by both organizations with Second Team honors. Frank Intagliata (Sr., OF, Dowling) was placed on the NCBWA Second Team while Chuck Fontana (Fr., P, Molloy) received Second Team recognition from ABCA & Rawlings.
