ECC Announces Over 1,350 Student-Athletes Named to Commissioner's Honor Roll

West Babylon, N.Y. – On Thursday morning, the East Coast Conference announced that over 1,350 student-athletes have been named to the league’s 2022-2023 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

“Congratulations to all our student-athletes on their exceptional efforts in the classroom as well as their achievements on their teams,” said ECC Commissioner, Dr. Robert Dranoff.  “We are excited to have this opportunity to recognize them.”

Molloy University had the most honorees for the fourth straight year. The Lions were the only school to top 200 student-athletes on the list, finishing with 239 total. D’Youville was the runner-up with 185, while Mercy (166), Roberts Wesleyan (162), and St. Thomas Aquinas (153) all topped 150.

The Commissioner’s Honor Roll is awarded to student-athletes who receive a 3.25 or better cumulative grade point average. This annual recognition, in addition to the conference’s Scholar-Athlete awards, helps to uphold the East Coast Conference’s mission of promoting the total person and the ability to excel not only in the athletic arena but also in the classroom.
