Over 1,400 Named to 2021-22 ECC Commissioner's Honor Roll

West Babylon, N.Y. – The East Coast Conference announced on Thursday afternoon that over 1,400 student-athletes from the conference's 10 member schools and 14 associate member schools have been named to the league’s Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2021-2022 season.

“We are excited to once again recognize the outstanding achievements of our ECC student-athletes,” said ECC Commissioner, Dr. Robert Dranoff. “Their commitment to their work both in the classroom and on the playing field is always impressive and we are happy to honor them.”

For the third straight year, Molloy University had the most honorees. The Lions were the only school to top 200 student-athletes on the list, finishing with 208 total. St. Thomas Aquinas was the runner-up with 179. D’Youville rounds out the top three with 163 selections.

The Commissioner’s Honor Roll is awarded to student-athletes who receive a 3.25 or better cumulative grade point average. This annual recognition, in addition to the conference’s Scholar-Athlete awards, helps to uphold the East Coast Conference’s mission of promoting the total person and the ability to excel not only in the athletic arena but also in the classroom.
