ECC Announces 2020-21 Commissioner's Honor Roll Recipients

West Babylon, N.Y. – The East Coast Conference announced its list of student-athletes that have been named to the 2020-2021 ECC Commissioner's Honor Roll on Friday afternoon. Over 1,400 student-athletes from the conference's 10 member schools and 14 associate member schools were honored.

"It is always a great honor for us to recognize the impressive academic accomplishments of our East Coast Conference student-athletes," said ECC Commissioner, Dr. Robert Dranoff. "The past academic year was a challenging time for so many in so many ways. Once again, these team members persevered and committed themselves to be successful academically and athletically. As always, we are very proud of all student-athletes who represent the ECC."

Molloy led the way with the most honorees for the second straight year. The Lions were the only school to top 200 student-athletes on the list, finishing with 226 total. St. Thomas Aquinas was the runner-up with 165. Mercy rounds out the top-three with 147 selections, while Roberts Wesleyan was close behind with 142.

The Commissioner’s Honor Roll is awarded to student-athletes who receive a 3.25 or better cumulative grade point average. This annual recognition, in addition to Scholar-Athlete awards, helps to uphold the East Coast Conference’s mission of promoting the total person and the ability to excel not only in the athletic arena but also in the classroom.
