Sopko Sinks OT Winner as Dowling Defeats No. 1 Mercyhurst in NCAA SemfinalMay 19, 2012Kyle Sopko buried a feed from Brendan Hayes with 1:33 seconds left in the first overtime as Dowling defeated No. 1 Mercyhurst 7-6 at Tullio Field. With the win, the Golden Lions (11-2) advance to the NCAA Lacrosse Championships and take on No. 3 Limestone Sunday, May 27 at 1:00 pm at Gillette Stadium for the Division II National Championship.
