ECC Men's Tennis Report - Week Two

	Player of the Week Tobias Fuerschuss, St. Thomas Aquinas (Gr - Bregenz, Austria) Fuerschuss clinched the doubles point for the Spartans, along with teammate Don Vinz Lominoque, over Reece Farrow and Marko Jovanovic, 7-6 (7-4). He then went on to defeat Gabriel Balestero in singles action 6-3, 6-3 to help STAC shutout Adelphi, 7-0.
	Rookie of the Week Ondrej Sramek, St. Thomas Aquinas (Fr - Trebechovice pod Orebem, Czech Republic) Sramek clinched the doubles point for the Spartans, along with teammate Tony Khamassi, over Arjun Sriram & Joshua Oboniye, 6-3. He then went on to defeat Gryffin Minor in singles action 6-4, 6-1 to help STAC beat Division I FDU, 4-3 in the team's spring season opener.

Bibiloni was the lone Knight to pick up a singles court victory coming at No. 4 against Alexander Zuckerman to the score of 6-3, 2-6, 10-8.

ECC Team Notes

	Daemen: Daemen men's tennis suffered a 7-0 defeat at Mercyhurst on Saturday evening to move to 1-3 in the spring. The Wildcats are on the road this weekend for a Sunday match at Edinboro.
	District of Columbia: No team notes submitted.
	Queens: The Knights fell in their season opener to Monmouth on Saturday. Queens opens a nine-game home match against NEC members LIU and SFC on Friday (Feb. 24) afternoon.
	St. Thomas Aquinas: The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Tennis team (4-0) continued its perfect season, shutting out Adelphi 7-0 last week. STAC returns to action on February 25 (6:45 p.m.) against Manhattanville.
