UDC Men's Lacrosse Celebrates Six Seniors in Final Game of the Season

WASHINGTON, DC- The University of the District of Columbia's men's lacrosse team celebrated six senior's prior to their match up against St Thomas Aquinas College, Saturday afternoon at the Georgetown Day School Field. The Firebirds fell to the Spartans 7-24, to end with a 0-10 record on the season. The Spartans improved to 6-7.
Julian Schemm, Dylan Donaldson and Maxwell Hansberry each scored two goals. Multiple Firebirds picked up multiple ground balls with Carnell Lofton Jr. leading the way with 20. Najee Wilson saved a game-high 21 shots.
UDC won 25-34 face-offs and picked up 53 groundballs compared to STAC's 39. The Spartans outshot the Firebirds 60-33 and went a perfect 27-27 in clears compared to UDC's 14-21.
Jorge Silva, Julian Schemm, Jordan Schemm, Matthew Miller, Carnell Lofton Jr. and Maxwell Hansberry were he six senior studen-athletes that were celebrated prior to today's mach up.
