THE ROCKHILL REPORT

"We had a long day on the courts today but we were able to come away with two good conference wins over an improving Daemen team", said Coach Dan Rockhill. "We also appreciated enjoying lunch with our opponents between the matches. Coaches Greco and Zelaya, along with their team, were a pleasure to host."

"With our second match against Queens coming up on Tuesday, these could have been trap matches but the guys played with focus and experienced only a few hiccups along the way."

"Our freshmen played well today and demonstrated that the future of STAC tennis is bright", stated Rockhill. "Alberto and Vinz (who was today’s Most Impactful Player) each had four wins on the day. Ivan also contributed four wins. He is having a good season and continues to improve. Ondrej was also impressive. He plays with a lot of determination every time he takes the court."

"We are looking forward to a good practice tomorrow in preparation for Tuesday’s match. The team is trying to incrementally improve each day and find out how good they can be."
