Durall Picks up Lone Point in Firebirds Loss to Griffins
WASHINGTON,DC- The University of the District of Columbia's men's tennis team fell to Chestnut Hill, 1-6, Thursday afternoon at the UDC Tennis Courts. The Firebirds fell to 1-5 on the season while the Griffins improved to 5-2.
The Griffins went into singles play with the double's point advantage. Antonio Simo Durall picked up the Firebirds lone singles win at the No. 3 position, while the visitors went on to win at No.1,2,4,5 and 6.
UDC (1-5, 0-0 ECC) opens conference play against Queens College next Friday (the 17th) in Flushing, N.Y. Tip-off is set for 1:00 PM.
