THE ROCKHILL REPORT

"We are extremely happy with tonight's win", stated Coach Rockhill. "We were fully aware of how good Adelphi is and we expected and received a strong challenge. I will not be surprised if they end up competing in a meaningful match for the NE-10 title this year."

"We were somewhat fortunate to come away with the doubles point as we lost some key points that put us behind early on courts 1 and 2. I was pleased that Viny and Tobi continued to fight, when down 5-2, and came out on top in the tiebreaker. We have been talking all week about the importance of staying tough and always competing, regardless of the score."

"I am super happy for Ody as he continues to overcome adversity and regain form", said Rockhill. "He stuck to the gameplan and beat a top regional player. I was also happy for Ivan as he stepped in tonight and played well after a solid week of practice."

"Obviously, we had a lot of good performers tonight but Ludo was our Most Impactful Player of the match. He played an extremely cerebral match and gave us the huge lift we needed."

"We will get back to work next week as the team knows that what has gotten us to where we are today, will not be enough to get us to where we want to go."
