Mangeon Wins at No.1; UDC Falls to Queens
WASHINGTON, DC- The University of the District of Columbia's men's tennis team fell to nationally ranked Queens College 1-6, at the South East Tennis & Learning Center, Monday afternoon.
The Knights picked up the doubles point winning at 1, 2 and 3. Louis Mangeon would tie the score 1-1, picking up the Firebirds only singles' win at No.1, against regionally ranked player Roni Rikkonen.
Queens went on to win the next five matches to sweep the season series against the Firebirds.
Up Next, UDC (4-9,1-2 ECC) will head to Saprkhill N.Y. on Friday to face off against the ECC reigning champs St Thomas Aquinas College. Tip-off is set for 3:00 PM.
